The Couplemate™ Adjustable Ball Mount Hitch Kit is engineered for tough towing applications up to 3500kg ATM. Versatile and reliable, the unit provides an easy solution for Australians struggling to achieve a level caravan or trailer connection.

Towbar Receiver Mounting Positions

Adjustable ball mounts allow for flexible control over tow ball height.

The cast receiver is used in the standard scenario (“drop” position) or inverted scenario (“rise” position). This flexibility provides an easy solution if you have difficulties achieving a level of connection between your drawbar and towbar.

Safe Application

Please ensure your tow vehicle, towbar, and all other components are fit for application prior to use.

The cast receiver body features two retaining pin holes (front and rear). In either mounting scenario, one of the retaining holes must be used to ensure a secure connection. The supplied Mounting Hardware must always secure the hitch and ball mount platform.

Approximately 10% of your trailer weight should sit on your tow ball. The Couplemate™ Adjustable Tow Hitch will suit trailers with a 3500kg ATM and can handle 350kg of vertical load.

We recommend that off-road couplings of all brands use a solid cast receiver hitch. Open receivers have a welded tongue that distorts in extreme Off-Road conditions and under shock-loading events on the highway.

M20 Nut Torque Setting: 268Nm

Important: When using an alternative connective device, such as a DO35 tow pin, ensure compliance with that manufacturer’s torque specifications.
