Trailer Spring Suspension Parts for slipper and shackle springs

Trailer Spring Suspension or Hanger Kits for Slipper and Shackle Springs. Hangers must be welded at least 25mm from spring when fully extended.

The easiest way to perfect your spring hangers is to bolt the hanger plates onto your spring.

Measure and tac weld the front spring hanger into position.

Stretch the rear spring hanger to measure 25mm longer than your spring.

Tac weld the hanger onto the position.

When fully loaded, the outback spring shackle plate should point toward the rear of your trailer at 5 pm (left) and 7 pm (right)

Alternative Installation Method

Install spring hangers on a piece of angle iron and install the spring. Secure the angle iron onto the chassis rail with U-bolt clamp kits.

Slide the spring up and down the chassis rail until it is perfectly centred on the trailer chassis.
