The Hydrastar circuit board is a small, printed circuit board that controls the operation of the Hydrastar hydraulic brake actuator.
The manufacturer advises the XL circuit board be discontinued and be replaced by this product.

Troubleshooting Hydrastar EOH Actuators
The board receives signals from the brake controller and converts them into commands for the actuator. It also includes protection circuitry to prevent damage from overvoltage or short circuits.
The Hydrastar circuit board is a critical component of the Hydrastar braking system.

However, accidents happen, and replacement boards and other trailer parts are available.
Hydrastar circuit boards are not repairable once submerged or water-damaged.
Replace American circuit boards with this Australian controller. The new Hydrastar V7 circuit fits all Hydrastar actuators except the 1000 psi model.
The standard board fits the new Australian version of Gen 7.
Hydrastar brake actuators operate hydraulic braking systems via the following brands of trailer brake controllers:

The Alko Xtreme controller uses a foot control brake pedal installed inside the tow vehicle and, as a result, is not compatible with any Hydrastar unit.

Furthermore, ensure gaskets are clean before applying the sealant and resealing the housing onto the body.
Finally, bleed the brake lines to ensure no air bubbles in the hydraulic lines. The air bubbles in the brake lines cause ineffective braking.
